Hiran,(insidesomalia.org)- One of government soldiers died in Hiran region while other one wounded in a fighting between the transitional government troops in the region and armed groups laid a checkpoint at Bisle district 10km north of Beledweyne town on Saturday residents said.

In the fighting Hiran administration forces have prevailed to remove the militia's checkpoint and captured two of the gangs those were lastly jailed in Beledweyne town.

The confrontation has started after the government troops in Hiran region central Somalia have started operations against checkpoints militias following the region's road travelers have expressed more concern about armed groups laid checkpoints at the main Hiran region's roads those take extra extortion money from the people and the vehicle use the roads.
